Tile Travertine Cleaning In Foster City, CA 94404

This job was for a new customer acquired by way of Google search. After we provided a free estimate and the job was booked, we ended up cleaning and sealing this customer’s Travertine tile, cleaning one bedroom of carpet, two chairs (upholstery), and a few rugs. The Travertine had never been professionally cleaned; only a maintenance mopping was in place over the years. One thing most people don’t realize is that mopping is essentially spreading the soil from one side of the floor to the other. This was the case with this customer.

We knew this tile was in need of deep cleaning, so we went ahead and allowed extra dwell time for our pre-treatment followed by agitation with our CRB (counter-rotating brush) machine. As soon as we started the agitation process, the color difference was incredible. After the extraction portion was complete, we placed multiple air movers to completely dry the tile, followed by two coats of Stone Pro sealer.

The customer was incredibly satisfied with the results. I think it’s safe to say the Travertine looks almost new!
